In the third of our four-part series on Human Development through Nature Connection, we will explore how communication occurs between us and nature. 

When the connection reaches a certain level, something mysterious happens. 

As we develop bonds with the beings of nature, they will begin to respond to us. This response takes many forms, so we need to be fully attentive to what is occurring. Nature uses more than just the limited forms of spoken language. It communicates in a more profound, sensory, kinesthetic, felt sense, and intuitive/visionary way, where vast amounts of understanding can be passed through the ropes of connection that we develop. But we have to pay attention. 

We are designed to be able to tap into this communication, but we need to relearn and trust how this communication flows. It is like learning another language with fewer words but a greater sense of feeling. We often perceive this as intuitively knowing something without knowing how we know. 

When we tap into the multiple forms of wisdom held by the natural world, we can develop as human beings to a far greater depth than what we currently think is possible. We begin to understand ourselves in an intimate symbiotic relationship with all of life.
