Gender Identity and Ceremonial Roles

Historic Webinar Recording

The concepts and exploration of gender identity have always been part of the human experience. In the times of transition that we face, this needs to be undertaken from a connection viewpoint to ensure the healthiest outcomes occur. The understanding held by ancestrally connected cultures can help shed light upon this subject and engage with the exploration in a much more connected manner.

One will know oneself through connection with others.

In connected cultures, the larger community supports the exploration of identity and is essential for long-term survival. In the modern approach, and from a disconnected baseline, these explorations can often go off-kilter, creating more disconnection, division, and confusion.

When it comes to ceremony, especially those ceremonies where the protocols dictate specific gender roles, a challenge can occur from the human side of the equation. These protocols need to be understood from the viewpoint from which they were given. They are not human in their design, allowing us to gain a deeper understanding by stepping into the archetypal consciousnesses of creation.

In these instances, we need to explore this by stepping outside the human-centric reality and into a greater perspective of how life functions. This can be understood to be the spiritual reality of how creation works, or Spiritual Law.

Problems start to occur when we attempt to move the ceremony to comply with the desires of the human being to be more inclusive, or compassionate to human feelings. When we step into ceremony roles, we align with these greater aspects of how creation functions and can access the wisdom therein. To manipulate ceremony towards a human-only focus is a violation of Spiritual Law.

In this webinar, we will explore the concepts of gender identity through indigenous wisdom teachings and bring clarity on how ceremony functions under different laws.
