Offering Visionary Leadership Training - Healing, Optimism, Purpose, Evolution
The idea of being a 'medicine person' can be alluring and can have a romantic sense to it. It is often viewed as something to aspire to, but when the reality of what it means to live that life is understood, it is altogether a different story.
Holding the anchor point between the physical and spiritual realities for individuals, the village, and nature carries a weight of responsibility that should be understood not only by the person seeking this role but also by the community they serve. Working with spiritual medicine is not something that you can do when convenient; it is a state of being. The function that the medicine person serves is for the entire community.
The regulation of life-force energy is the responsibility of all who walk with medicine.
To be the bridge between these two worlds, one must be able to regulate life-energy in a way that maintains balance. It is a spiritual law that everything must come into balance. The role of the medicine person is to support the return to balance and the flow of life. What it takes to bring balance and healthy flow to the situation can fluctuate greatly. Failure to do this competently means that the balancing energy will fall to someone or something else - often the innocent.
Much of today's lack of understanding around spiritual medicine is due to lack of training, misunderstanding, or ignorance. Even if there is a well educated and competent medicine person doing their work, the people and community seeking help don't necessarily know their responsibility. The communities full participation in the support of health, healing and tending life - and the medicine person, is often lacking or absent. The well-being of all is tied together in impactful and potentially disastrous ways.
When both the medicine person and the larger community understand the requirement to regulate the energy and support the healing of all, a potency can occur with miraculous results.
In this webinar we will explore the energy regulation process and the responsibilities of the 'medicine person' and the greater community in maintaining balance.
