Bison People Land - The White Bison Bull

The Bison People Land herd has grown by one! This spring we have purchased a unique young bull to add to our developing herd. The new addition is a yearling white bison. Thanks to the generous donation from the Killa Wasi Foundation, the board and our dear friend Judy Bath. 

The white bison bull comes from a ranch in the Southern Black Hills of South Dakota, about 1 hour away from our site. The rancher explained that the original genetics to produce the white hide came from a rancher in North Dakota who specifically bred his bison to bring out this recessive genetic trait. 

The bison is a symbol of abundance and manifestation. The birth of a sacred white buffalo is a sign of hope and an indication of good times to come. The white bison holds a profound place in Native American cultures, symbolizing hope, peace, and spiritual renewal.

The managers of the Bison People Land organization are grateful to have the honor of adding this special bison to our herd. We are looking forward to supporting the future offspring of this young bull.
